The Soener Foundation located in Omaha recently made a donation of $2,000 to the Lauren Schaaf Scholarship Fund. The funds are used for scholarships for St. Mary's students. Lauren graduated from St. Mary's in 1969 and was the Director of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. The generous gift originated from Mr. Jim Wilson and his wife, Mrs. Jean Soener Wilson. Jim was a classmate of Lauren's. Thanks to the Soener Foundation for remembering St. Mary's as we continue to keep Lauren in our prayers.
