Geographic Bee Held

St. Mary's School held the national Geographic Bee in January. Twenty students in grades 4th - 8th competed. Seven of those students qualified for the final round after answering four out of seven questions correctly. All of the students competed well. After many rounds, the finalists were chosen. Andrew Krotter was the third place winner. Davida Butterfield was the runner-up and Colin Campbell was named the Geographic Bee winner. He has taken a test and will be notified by mail in March if he is eligible for the State Bee held in April. The state winner then competes in Washington D.C.
