The fourth grade is taking a look into their past.  Fourth graders are asking their grandparents what life was like when they were in fourth grade.  For Children’s Day the fourth graders are writing to their grandparents about the memorable times that they have experienced with their older relatives.

Who’s got spirit?  St. Mary’s students do!  This week is homecoming week.  The cheerleaders planned many activities to take place throughout the week.  There was a bonfire Sunday night.  Monday was patriotic day for junior high and high school students.  The students displayed their national pride by dressing in red, white, and blue.  Tuesday was come as you are day.  Most students got up five minutes before school started.  Students looked through their parents’ closets to find outfits for today’s theme -- decade day.  Tomorrow is cowboy day, and Friday is red and white day.  Students that dress up are allowed to participate in special games or are awarded special prizes during the week.

___________, do you know what else is happening this Friday?   Lots of fun activities!   Friday begins with the all-school Mass at 8: 10.  Then at noon there will be a cook out.  A pep rally will follow in the high school gym and last until 1:45.  All St. Patrick’s parishioners, St. Mary’s parents, alumni, supporters, and friends are invited to attend.  The homecoming dance will follow the seven o’clock football game with coronation at 10 p.m.
