Dorothy White

Funeral services for Dorothy White, age 84, of O'Neill, will be 10:30 A.M Saturday at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in O'Neill with burial in the O'Neill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Friday, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill . Dorothy passed away Tuesday evening at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Francie Walton and her husband, Willard of Norfolk, Coke Thompson and her husband, Ron of Trenton, Shannon Caouette and her husband, Don of O'Neill, 2 sons; Jack Kelly and his wife, Rhonda of Jacksonville, Florida, Bill white of Omaha, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 7 great, great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Darleen Hansen of Denver and Della Hemelstrand and her husband, Kenneth of Denver.

Dorothy was born May 7, 1923 at Neligh, Nebraska to John and Myrtle (Howell) Dalton. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in O'Neill and taught school in the Redbird Area North of O'Neill. Dorothy married John Kelly in O'Neill, Nebraska. He passed away in July of 1948. On December 7, 1949 Dorothy married William White in O'Neill. They made their home, raising their family here in O'Neill. Dorothy along with being a mother, helped Bill with the bookkeeping for his Trenching Company. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill, St. Patrick's Altar Society and the O'Neill American Legion Auxiliary. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands and one brother. Rev. Paul Hoesing will officiate.
