A Prayer for Life

Father, Creator of all life,

'Watch over that which is yours.

As our Lord Himself was sent,

So are we sent to do good

and to lead by example,

A life worthy of your eternal love.

 

God the single protector of human weakness,

Hear the prayers we humbly offer

for those who are in peril

Especially the unborn, the aged, the handicapped,

the suffering, and the terminally ill

Grant to them your mercy, heavenly assistance,

and spiritual protection

so that they might continue to fulfill

Your earthly design.

'We ask this through Christ Our Lord
