The musical, based on the movie ãBack to the
Future,ä featured Vic Ames (Brandon Straka) as a high school
senior who, after graduation wants to become a musician. Vic,
however, wonât graduate unless he passes his science class.
When he stumbles across a time machine at school, Vic is transported
back to the 1950âs only to discover that his father, Wolf Ames
(Andy Willis), is really a beatnik, and his mother Jennifer (Courtney
Wettlaufer), is being romantically pursued by an aspiring politician
Horace (Kevin Heitz), and a gang member, Marlon Von Brut (Tony
Guggenmos). Unless Vic can arrange a date between his Mom and Dad,
they may never marry, and Vic may never be born. Vic had his work cut
out for him, especially with the added pressure of being chased by
Kennedy High faculty members who want him committed to Happy Pond, a
home for the mentally ill. Electra Mulligan (Molly Bauer) also added
chaos to the musical by constantly nagging Vic to be her first
official date. Along with the Wild Bunch and the Chorus, ãTime
and Time Againä was another SMH musical success.
