St. Mary's Academy 1900-1965

Entrance to St.Mary's Convent, crowned by the chapel windows and the statue of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, patroness of the school. Inside the polished doors were formal reception parlors and the chapel stairway.

The stately oaken chapel stairway leading to the cloister and second floor.

The chapel, a holy place, where the sisters and many generations of students prayed.

"The Golden Stairs" of the West entry. They were rarely used but made a lasting impression on all students. They were highly polished and disappeared into a landing bedecked with greenery.

a garden for proms and banquets.
