Season Winding Down for Lady Cards

On January 28, the St. Mary's Lady Cardinals played the Lynch Eagles in the first round of the Niobrara Valley Conference Tournament. They came out with a win, 62-47, to move them into the next round which was also played in the Lynch against Stuart Broncos on Monday, January 30. They started of slowly trying to fight back but came up short with a score of 54-41, to end their appearance in the Niobrara Valley Conference Tournament.
On Tuesday, February 7, Lady Cards came up against Butte to move their record to 13-5 with a score of 56-42. With a record of 13-6, the Lady Cards ended their regular season games.
The Lady Cards started Sub-Districts on February 14 against Spencer-Naper and came out on top with a score of 53-44. With this win, the Cards moved to the sub-districts finals to play against Cody-Kilgore. This game was to be played on Thursday, February 16, but was postponed until Saturday, February 18, due to weather conditions.
