Big Travels in February

This month our student body had two students take big vacations far away. This story will be a two part feature with the second part in next months issue. This issue will cover travels to Cancun, Mexico with Megan Gaughenbaugh. Megan left with her family on Feburary 2 and returned on Feburary 4. They stayed at the Moon Palace Resort, which she says is a six star hotel. The hotel had ten pools, two indoor and eight outdoor, and five jacuzzis.The hotel also had eight restaurants.

There are two different kinds of vacationers, the ones that go out and do things like scuba diving, parasailing, or maybe even sight seeing and the kind that lies around the whole time and does nothing the whole time but relax. Both kinds are good and the best vacationers are the ones who find a perfect balance between the two. Though Megan's vacation was more on the relaxed side she actually did go into the water, even though it was only up to her thighs. She also played minigolf. Other than lying around and playing minigolf Megan also ate nachos, and bought souvenirs at the market.
