"This years One Acts team is promising and has good hustle all around. I like hustle," said St. Mary's own Marc Zakrzewski, a member in this years one act team.

This year's production is about a kooky family. Wendy, played by Sloane Schiender, is the somewhat disgruntled mother. The husband Tom, played by Justin Podany, is a highly apathetic life partner to Wendy. Quentin, played by Brady Anderson, is their child. The daughter Dorothy, played by Torie Eby, is the fun-loving daughter. Katie Schneider plays the sassy teen, Sandy.

The play is about when their rich Uncle Max, played by Marc Zak, passes away. This causes several relatives of the family and his trophy girlfriend, Brittany Petersen to suddenly to arrive at Wendy's house for a will reading. The various reatives are played by Ryan Janousek, Davida Buttterfield, Lisa Marx, Nicholas Podany, Jake Reiman, McKena Ludemann, Tiffany Vandersnick, Lacey Novak, Ashley Vandersnick, and Pat Conway. They are also harassed by their crazy neighbor Opal, played by Meghan Boyle and her husband Howard, played by Robert Shields. The reading being held by the passive Clive played by Conner Cole.

Mayhem ensues when Max shows up for his own will reading causing the family much strife.

On November 15 the team will make it's first performance in the NVC competition at Rock county. Best of luck to this years One Act team.
