Member of this year's speech team are sophomores Sarah Novak, Brooke Lindhorst, Christina Reynoldson, Serenity Butterfield, and Justin Kruse; juniors Matt McCarville, Will Dougherty, Kylie Ludemann, Megan Davis, Emily Dugan, Kathryn Fuchser, Gina Hoesing, and Jordon Anderson.

These students are filling all of the spots at the Conference and District level to have a full team. The speech members compete in duet acting, oral interpretation of drama, serious prose,humorous prose, entertainment, informative, persuasive, and extemporaneous speaking.

Mrs. Atkeson is the speech coach this year. She said, "We have a lot of talent, and are expecting a great season." Conference competition is on March 3 at Ewing. Distinct competi-tion will be held on March 10 at Butte. We wish all of the speech members the best of luck. The speech team also participated in the Stuart and Ainsworth meets.

The Speech team competed in their first meet on Saturday. Kathryn Fuchser placed sixth in Serious Prose. Serenity Butterfield received a Superior in Humorous Prose. The Duet team of Kathryn Fuchser and Emily Dugan received a Superior. The Duet team of Serenity Butterfield and Sarah Novak received a Superior. The OID team of Jordon Anderson, Megan Davis, Emily Dugan, and Kathryn Fuchser received a Superior. The OID team of Serenity Butterfield, Brooke Lindhorst, Sarah Novak, and Christina Reynoldson received a Superior.
