On February 25th the eighth grade History class students traveled to Wayne to compete in National History Day -- Nebraska. Congratulations go out to the winners who will be going to the State contest in April. Receiving second place for her Historical Paper in the junior division was Sloane Schneider. Also receiving second place was Crystal Dyer for her Individual Performance. Third place honors went to Korri Isom for her efforts in the Individual Exhibit category. These three members will be competing on Saturday, April 12th, in Lincoln at the Nebraska Wesleyan College campus. The theme for National History Day is Rights and Responsibilities in History. Good luck to these three girls!
