The year has started off slowly; the Lady Cardinals have had a rocky start. In the season opener the girls were over-powered by the Clearwater Cardinals, 67-28. Next the squad played the Orchard Orioles. They stuck in the game and came out victorious 51-39. Then the Lady Cardinals traveled to Verdigre and fell to the Lady Hawks 43-39 in a hard-fought game. They won over Ochard 51-39 and Elgin 49-43. but they took a heavy fall to Neligh, ending the game with a 38-47 loss. Currently the Cardinals are 2-3. They hope to improve their skills and their record.

The varsity members of the squad this year are: Michelle Shoemaker, Kristen Carr, Brooke Earley, Lindsey Kallhoff, Staci Givens, Christine Troshyski, Kara Garmanm, Laura Cameron, Jordon Anderson, Gina Hoesing, Emily Walnofer, Christina Reynoldsaon and Jacque Earley. The coaches this year are Mr. Troshynski, and Dr. M.J. Kersenbrock.
