Nativity in Black Bring's Sabbath Style in to the 10's. With such songs as Supernaut, Paranoid, Iron Man, War Pigs, and Children of the Grave, Black Sabbath has gained somewhat of a cult following among heavy metal fans over the past thirty years. The album combines all of today's hottest groups and sounds into the 1990's. Such heavy metal favorites as Megadeath, White Zombie, Sepultura, and Faith No More pay tribute. Industrial rock takes center stage also. Therapy? With Ozzy Osbourne, 10,000 Homo DJ's and Biohazzard transcend classic Sabbath. My favorite songs happen to be two well known. White Zombie's Children of the Grave, and 10,000 HomoDJ's Supernaut blend their style into Sabbath's with an ear catching sound. Another favorite is an unknown song by an unknown group. "The Wizard," by Burling Brummies does a masterful job of blending a grunge rock sound with the Black Sabbath harmonics. This tribute was a real surprise. Generally, remakes are dull and nothing at all like the original songs. On Nativity in Black this is not the case. Out of five stars I give it four. So all you hard rock and heavy metal fans, I suggest you rush out and buy yourself a copy.
