On November 8, 1995, the St. Mary's Junior class traveled to Norfolk with Fr. Reiser and Mr. Bahrij, for a religious retreat. It was held at the Immaculata Convent and was held by the Benedictine Missionary Nuns. The class learned many new things about themselves and about God. They split into groups for some activities, and also heard a few of the nuns speak of their missionary work and heir inspiration to become sisters. The students attended a morning prayer service, watched educational videos, were well fed, and ended the day with a Mass, in which they participated. The class came home feeling enlightened, and happy they had the opportunity to attend.
