Matmaids Dish Out Support

With each new school year, there come changes. This year one positive change is that our school now has "wrestling "matmaids" to encourage our wrestlers onto victory. Many people are not aware that Brooke Soukup and Makala Givens volunteered for this honor. Last year a few cheerleaders asked to cheer for wrestling, bit they were told that they couldn't because it was thought that they would be too tired from cheering at basketball games the night before. A few have wondered why there were no tryouts for the honor of matmaids. If cheerleaders are required to tryout, why not matmaids? This may be an issue to consider for next year if more students are interested in becoming matmaids.
