As we watched the spectacular illuminating lights,
We felt as if we had been joined with nature.
The clouds moved slowly, but swiftly.
While rainbows of light danced around them

It was beautiful.
And we were beautiful together.
Joined as one with nature,
And each other.

Journey of Life

The boy left home
To see the town.
In three days, he saw everything.
The back home he came round.
He told of all he has seen and
All that he had found.

The teen left home
To see the country.
In three years, he saw all of it.
Then to home he returned.
He told of all he saw and didn't edit
All that he had learned.

The man left home
To see the world.
In three decades, he saw it all.
Then to home his way did wend.
He told of everything that him did befall
and
All that he had gleaned.

The old man left home
To see the universe.
To home he never returned
Even though he started out at his best
For the years that he'd yearned,
Too immense was his quest.
