Weather has been a big factor in this spring's golf season. Members on the golf team have yet to endure a pleasant, calm, day on the course. High winds and cold weather early in the season dampened the O'Neill Golf Team in their quest for a tournament win. The young squad seems to have found their winning touch, by winning the last two major tournaments. "There are about seven men on the team that are playing extremely well right now, and the team should be recognized as a powerhouse in Northeast Nebraska." Says golfer Russ Berg. Despite all the wind and rain, the team should have an appearance in the state golf tournament in Hastings.
