Five St. Mary's students, Andrea Flaherty, Jennifer Selting, Krista Gokie, Sherry Havranek, and Kim Shoemaker, along with sponsors Pam Bode and Pat Selting, traveled to Omaha for the Future Business Leaders of America's State Leadership Conference. Here the girls were tested on their business skills, and they also attended seminars ranging from employers demanding their winning attitude to preparing for the twenty first century as a business leader. The conference also included a formal coccus, voting for the next state leaders, and a dance. FBLA members experienced an educational and memorable trip, where they made new friends and learned about leadership in the process.
