Roots Run Deep at St. Mary's

During the homecoming week 1994, our new counselor, Deacon Cletus, had a brilliant idea to preserve our memory here at SMH by every class planting a tree. This was a very nice touch to the homecoming week because along with all the spirit and happiness it brought the classes closer together. Won't it be nice in ten years when we return as alumni to see our trees towering over the church? We can say, "We planted this, so we would never be forgotten here," and it will be a real nice feeling.
