Cards Filled with Expectations

Basketball season is here again, and the boys' team appears to be one of the best squads in recent years. With all returning starters and the other varsity players from last year's team, their experience should prove valuable. They face a tough early schedule, playing at least three rated teams before New Years. The team is looking to start the 1994-95 season with a new respect. The team's sixteen boys, four from each grade, join a talented coaching staff headed by Mike Pardun and his assistants Tim Schneider and Rick Butts. The Cards should be exciting to watch due to their run and gun style of play. Tim Gokie summed it up by saying, "We should turn it around this year because of our hard work and dedication."
