Seniors Plan Futures
On May 16, 1993 St. Mary's High School seniors will close the doors on their childhood and open the ones on adulthood. Graduation day isn't really the end; in fact, it marks the day of the new beginning. What do the SMH seniors plan to do after high school? Twenty four of the twenty-five students plan to attend college. Of this group, six will go into the field of education. Fourteen will stay in Nebraska and eight will take different routes out of state; two seniors haven't decided where they will attend college yet.

Julie Balk plans to attend the University of NE in
Kearney and will major in Special Education and minor in Art.
Michaela Bauer plans to attend Lincoln School of
Commerce and major in travel and tourism.
Jeremy Belik plans to attend Mt. Marty College and
major in art.
Ann Boyle plans to attend the University of NE in
Lincoln and major in elementary education
Kirk Carr plans to attend the University of NE in
Kearney and major in Computers
Cheleigh Closson plans to attend the University of
SD in Vermilion and major in Pre-mortuary science and minor in
Psychology
Don Dugan plans to attend the University of NE in
Kearney and major in Physical Therapy.
Monica Gallagher plans to attend The college of
St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN and major in English education
Steve Gokie plans to attend SDSU in Brookings SD
and major in engineering
Kathleen Hayes plans to attend Drake University in
Des Moines, Iowa.
Jason Heitz plans to attend the University of
South Dakota
Colleen Hibbs plans to attend the University of NE
in Kearney and major in Business finance.
Laurin Klitz plans to attend the UNK and major in
nursing
Shawn Moss plans to attend SDSU, in Brookings, SD
and major in Animal Science
Benjy Musil plans to attend NECC in Norfolk and
major in Drafting
Rick Pongratz plans to attend WSC and major in
political science
Brian Riley plans to attend NECC and major in
secondary education in the subject of history
Melanie Schaaf plans to attend USD in Vermillion,
SD and major in Social Work
