Gallagher's Essay Wins Prize

    For her second year in a row, senior Monica Gallager's pro-life essay has taken second place in the Knights of Columbus state contest.
    This year's pro-life topic was specific: Compare abortion to the Holocaust or the Dred Scott decision. Gallagher chose "Abortion: The Modern-day Holocaust." After placing first in the district level, for which she received a monetary prize, she won a savings bond at the state level. Monica plans to save her prizes for college.
