Jeanne Gonderinger, age 90, of O'Neill, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 at a Hospice House in Omaha.

Visitation was held from 3-9 p.m. on June 9, 2008 at Biglin' s Mortuary in O'Neill, with a Rosary at 8 p.m.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church O'Neill. Rev. Gerald Gonderinger, Rev. Francis Nigli and Rev. Paul Hoesing officiated. Music was provided by pianist. Susan Kramer and the St. Patrick's Choir.

Pallbearers were Chris Schoenfelder. Mark Schoenfelder, Stephen Schoenfelder. Matthew Schoenfelder, Matthew Gonderinger William Gonderinger and Nicholas Gonderinger.

Interment was in the O'Neill Calvary Cemetery.

Biglin's Mortuary of O'Neill was in charge of arrangements.

Jeanne was born on June 18, at O'Neill to Michael and Ethe1 (Morse) McCarthy. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy.

Jeanne previously owned and operated McCarthy Abstract Company in O'Neill. She married Norman Gonderinger on June 23, 1945, at O'Neill and he passed away on July 19, 1985.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Altar Society, the Legion of Mary, the Franciscan Associates and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Jeanne is survived by two daughters, Sue Schoenfelder and husband Craig of Troy, MI, and Mary Krick and husband Thomas of St. Paul, MN; two sons, Charles Gonderinger and wife Gigi of Plymouth, MN and Robert Gonderinger and wife Mary of Omaha; 15 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband. Norman; and eight brothers and sisters.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Schools or St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill.
