James "Jim" S Becker

James "Jim" S. Becker, age 67, of Germantown, TN, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2007, from injuries sustained in a car accident near Lincoln after attending his mother's funeral in O'Neill.

Funeral services were held March 15 and 16 in Minneapolis, MN, at the Washburn-McGreavy Davies Chapel. Rev. Father Earl Simonson officiated tile service.

Interment was at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery with full military honors.

Jim was born in Randolph and moved to O'Neill with his family when he was eight years old. He attended St. Mary's Schools, graduating with the class of 1957.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran with service in Vietnam. He worked for 3M Company in Minneapolis, MN, for 33 years, becoming division manager for the Industrial Tape and Packaging Systems.

Jim is survived by his wife, Richelle Becker of Germantown, TN; children, Troy Becker of Cincinnati, Ohio, Nicci Nadir and husband Paris of Phoenix, AZ, Heidi Becker of Phoenix, AZ, and Dustin Becker and wife Heather of Aurora, CO; nine grandchildren; brother, Don Becker and wife Lorraine of O'Neill; and sister, Roberta Kauppert of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Curry; and parents, Ludwig and Mary Ann Becker.
