UNL Awards Scholarships
The University of Nebraska Lincoln has announced the winners of 2,746 scholarships awarded to Nebraska high school seniors. The total potential value of the scholarships is nearly $13.1 million.
The awards include 443 Regents Scholarships (including 129 Nebraska Top Scholars), 152 Nebraska Achievement Scholarships, 119 David Distinguished Scholarships, 527 Honors Program Textbook Scholarships, 1,124 James H. Canfield Scholarships,' 90 Chancellor's Leadership Class Scholarships and 62 Pepsi Scholarships for Outstanding Volunteer Service and Leadership.
Regents Scholarships are among the most prestigious awards granted by the university. They pay tuition for full-time students (equivalent to a cash value of approximately $19,500 over four years) and are renewable annually for those who maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3:5 on a 4.0 scale or ranking in the upper 25 percent of their class in a degree-granting undergraduate college while enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours per semester). The scholarships' are awarded based on the student's high school class rank and ACT or SAT composite score.
