ST. MARY'S FOURTH GRADE scores among highest in the nation that take ITBS and ITED tests.
The Iowa Test of Basic Skills and the Iowa Test of Educational Development test results are in with St. Mary's School's at the top of the results in several grades when compared to the Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Omaha. St. Mary's fourth grade topped the Archdiocese results by scoring in the 98th percentile in math and in the 99th percentile in reading, language, and science. These results can also be interpreted as St. Mary's fourth grade students scoring' better than 98%-99% of the all students in fourth grade in the nation who Were administered this test: The second grade also scored the highest in the Archdiocese in all areas tested; reading, language, and math. The third and fifth grade scored the highest in reading, language, and science. The sixth grade topped the science category.
The outstanding test scores also reached into the high school. When comparing to the Archdiocese, St. Mary's seventh grade, scored highest in math, ninth grade in reading and math and 10th grade in reading and language.
On the ITBSIITED tests, the national average student percentile is 50%. St. Mary's lowest percentile of 75% exceed the nation's by 25%.
St. Mary's ACT scores are also noteworthy with St. Mary's composite score of 23.7, being higher than the national, state, and Omaha Archdiocese composite scores.
