Relay For Life Informational Meeting Feb. 8

For the last four years the Holt County Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society has been held in O'Neill. This year is no different. The Relay will be held on, Friday and Saturday, June 9-10.

An informational,Relay for Life night will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 6-9 p.m. at St. Patrick's Parish Hall, in the basement of St: Mary's High School in O'Neill.

There will be informational booths on fund raising, corporate sponsorship, luminaries and team formation to answer questions of those seeking ideas. A mock campsite will also be displayed as well as refreshments available.

Becoming involved is easier than an individual may think. There are many ways to be involved including having a team, being a corporate sponsor, volunteering, donating and buying a luminary.

If an individual is not sure how to become involved, the informational night allows far a person to visit the booths and ask questions and have them answered.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with an informational program starting at 7 p.m. and booths will remain open until 9 p.m.
