Emma Jean Parks, age 66, of Manzanola, CO, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at her home.
She was cremated and a memorial service is planned at a later date.
Emma Jean was born Oct. 25, 1939, in O'Neill, to Doris and Dick Tomlinson. She attended school at St. Mary's High School in O'Neill. She married Jack Hawk in 1956. To this union five children were born. In 1969 she married Clair Parks. To this union two children were born. They 1 ived for years in Norfolk finally settling in Montana where she worked intheHospice Hospital. She retired and moved to Colorado where she spent her final days.
She enjoyed all her online friends, ghost stories but especially her little dog Susie.
Emma Jean is survived by her special friend, Harvey Holt of Manzanola, CO; children, John Hawk of Dennison, Iowa, Rick (Paula) Hawk of Gillette, WY, Randy (Teresa) Hawk of Omaha, Dianna (Melvin) Totten of Dennison, Iowa; Dalynn (Patti) Parks of Rio Rancho, NM, and Valerie Smith of Centerfield, UT; 21 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, P,atricia Brookhouser; brothers, Eddie Tomlinson, Mickey Tomlinson, Geo Tomlinson, Dennis Tomlinson and Casey Tomlinson; and former husband, Clair Parks.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Dick and Doris Tomlinson; sister, Sue Syslo; brother, Jimmy Tomlinson; and daughter, Sandra Swanson.
