We Have Grown...
by Nick Welding

Reverend Father(s), esteemed faculty, parents, friends, and classmates.

As president of the senior class, I welcome you to the graduation exercises of the Class of 2004. The majority of us have attended St. Mary's from kindergarten to the 12th grade. Some have joined our class during grade school and even high school years.

We have experienced many changes in our 13 years of schooling. We have grown from young children playing tackle football in the snow and singing in grade school programs, to the enthusiastic and adventurous young adults we are now. We know we have further challenges ahead since all of us plan to attend college in the fall.

Before we leave St. Mary's School, the Class of 2004 would like to thank our parents and relatives for their support and love, our teachers for their patience and encouragement, and our parish for providing us with the opportunity of a Catholic education.

Thank you for your presence here today.
