State Speech Results

St. Mary's speech team traveled to Kearney, Nebraska to compete in the 2004 State Speech Tournament on March 19. Each of the four events put on a great performance at the tournament, but competition was fierce, and no one was able to break into the final round. Davida Butterfield was awarded a certificate for superior performance in Persuasive Speaking, and Kathryn Fuchser was awarded a certificate for superior performance in Poetry. The entire team should be proud of their performances. Congratulations on a successful season.
