1910 - July - large new addition was begun. At the same time a new St. Patrick's Church was being built.

 

1911 - September 19, the new wing is completed. It included much expanded facilities for dormitories, a gymnasium, classrooms, music rooms and an assembly room.

 

1918 - "Black Flu" devastates the nation. The entire school was quarantined from

November to February. Seventy-five boarders plus twenty-four day hops lived at the academy with no vacation and no visits.
