ST. PATRICK’S

PARISH and

ST. MARY’S SCHOOL

YESTERDAY ,

TODAY

AND

TOMORROW

For nearly 130 years, St. Patrick’s Parish and St. Mary’s School have served students, parents, alumni, community and church with distinction. Like virtually all parishes and educational institutions, it has been confronted with many challenges — but it has never lost sight of its mission or compromised its high standards. St. Patrick’s Parish and St. Mary’s School are both prepared to move into the future with a long list of valuable qualities.

— The school’s program of study combines a strong religious education with a high standard academic curriculum that is complemented by a diversified extracurricular program enriching the students school experience.

— The parish rejects mediocrity and targets excellence in all its endeavors.

— The St. Mary’s educational experience provides a low student-teacher ratio, guaranteeing personal attention to each student.

— Parents, students and alumni who have experienced the St. Mary’s educational process have a special pride in their school.

— There is a family atmosphere that develops a sense of family and belonging throughout the entire congregation.

— Throughout the history of St. Patrick’s and St. Mary’s there has always existed a life long love of God which has helped make possible the many successful events and learning experiences the parish and school has been a part of over the years.

St. Patrick’s Parish and St. Mary’s School now turn to its parishioners, parents, alumni and friends for assistance. All of us are indebted to previous generations for their sacrifices in making possible what we enjoy today. We have all worshipped in churches we did not establish, attended schools we did not build, studied in books we did not buy. Now it is our turn to provide both for the current needs of St. Mary’s School and for the needs of generations to come.

The financial need is genuine. The Challenge 2000 plan has been well conceived and soundly prepared. This program is a sound investment with far reaching benefits. We must help our parish and school now so they may both continue to illuminate the hearts and minds of all parishioners and, especially, the many young, eager students who come to us filled with ambition, ideals and hope for the future!
