Dear Friend,

God be praised! The love and work of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have brought hope, salvation and eternal life to the world, and St. Patrick's has been privileged to share in this the last 125 years.

Our 125th anniversary is a time for our parish to remember the great gift of faith and salvation that we've been given, to remember the loving labors of our fathers and mothers in faith these last 125 years, to give thanks for all who've had a part in building up our parish and all that has been accomplished, to renew our commitment to Jesus and the work He has given us, and to make plans for the years ahead.

As you read the history of St. Patrick's, you see that from the beginning our fathers and mothers loved the Lord Jesus, the Church He died for and the mission He gave them. Not even World Wars, fires, droughts, and hardships could overcome their love for the Lord and each other, and their sense of mission.

Now we celebrate all that God has done through our fathers and mothers these last 125 years. With faith in Him, they were able to do so much with so little. I think our faith-life is just as rich. Our level of prosperity is certainly greater. Through our rich faith and our gifts of time, talent and treasure may St. Patrick's and its ministries grow and prosper. Let us continue the good work they began by gathering people into Christ's Kingdom, living the Way of Christ, sharing His liberating and encouraging Word, paying homage to Father through the Holy Eucharist and Sacraments, and serving the needy, the poor and the hurting.

May the Father, Son and Spirit grant eternal life to all those who've gone before us in faith, health, happiness and blessings to all who have been and who are now part of the St. Patrick's family, and blessings and success on all our future work and endeavors.
